Esthetician Licensure State Board Preparation
Examination for licensure
The Colorado Esthetician State Board Exam is the final step for aspiring estheticians to obtain licensure in the state. It covers essential topics such as skin care theory, sanitation and infection control, facials, hair removal, and state laws. The exam consists of both a written portion, which tests theoretical knowledge, and a practical portion, where candidates demonstrate hands-on skills. The test is administered through PSI Exams, and applicants must meet Colorado's eligibility requirements, including completing an approved esthetics program and meeting required training hours, to qualify.
