All students need to apply for benefits directly with VA. The VA will review their records and if eligible provide the student with a Certificate of Eligibility (COE). The student will give our academy the COE so we know you are eligible and under which benefit they need to be certified.
600-Hour Esthetics Program Attendance, Enrollment Structure, and VA Student Responsibilities
Elite Aesthetics Academy's esthetics program consists of 600 clock hours. To provide a consistent and manageable schedule for students while maintaining compliance with attendance and reporting requirements, students are contracted over a 12-month enrollment period.
The 600 required clock hours are distributed evenly across the 12-month contract term, resulting in an average of 50 scheduled clock hours per month. This schedule equates to approximately 12.5 clock hours per week and is designed to support part-time enrollment while allowing students flexibility to balance work, family, military, and other personal commitments.
The Academy utilizes this standardized scheduling model to ensure consistent attendance reporting, accurate progress tracking, and clear expectations for program completion. While students may occasionally attend additional hours or require schedule adjustments due to illness, holidays, or approved absences, the contracted schedule remains based on the average completion of 50 clock hours per month over the 12-month enrollment period.
Although portions of the curriculum may be designated as distance education for regulatory or instructional purposes, all required clock hours must be completed in person at Elite Aesthetics Academy. Students are expected to meet all attendance, participation, and academic requirements to receive credit toward program completion.
The Academy reports enrollment based on the contracted training schedule and program structure in accordance with applicable VA regulations, State Approving Agency requirements, and institutional policies. Determination of educational benefits, including monthly housing allowances, entitlement usage, and other VA education benefits, is made solely by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
Students utilizing VA Chapter 35 Dependents' Educational Assistance (DEA) benefits should be aware that benefit payments are made directly to the student by the Department of Veterans Affairs and are not paid to Elite Aesthetics Academy. Students are solely responsible for budgeting and managing their educational benefit funds and ensuring that all tuition, fees, and other financial obligations are paid in accordance with their Enrollment Agreement and payment schedule.
Receipt of VA educational benefits does not relieve the student of their contractual financial responsibilities to the Academy. Failure to make timely payments may result in late fees, administrative holds, interruption of enrollment services, collection activity, and referral of delinquent balances to a third-party collection agency in accordance with Academy policies and applicable law.
Students are encouraged to maintain regular communication with both the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Academy's administration regarding benefit eligibility, payment schedules, and any changes that may impact their educational funding or enrollment status.
